Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is the host of SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since her age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first position at Univision, Miami. She was able to work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this she was hired by she was hired by the CBS subsidiary located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. She moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at one of the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. She covered stories about the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs throughout Texas as well as Mexico. Also, she was often asked to serve as a sports or weather anchor. Later, she was anchor and reporter at Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was given more responsibilities. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. At some point they relocated into Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. Her family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. In 1992, her parents divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, naval engineer, who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. Her residence was at Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer in which she was offered a job. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta was able to visit the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her requirements. It turned out that she was a fan of the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university with a degree studying media and communication studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station director of WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. It was he who inspired her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she determined to meet his demands always delivering on time.
