Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in various television shows. She is an American actor from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in the family relocated towards the US. She was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters. She was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's career in the air started with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For this performance, she won during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. She's appeared in TV shows like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played the role of a support actress in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada first appeared in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor Dr. Saira Bastra.
